From Daylight to Nightlight

Wow. it's been an intense last week. I went to the wedding of my brother from another mother, met some ghosts from the past and survived without even chuckin down an entire bottle of wine...seriously if you know the story, this is when you clap your little hands.

My french date and I (looking quite chinese..)

The bride and groom looking official. etc etc etc.

I left "the city" (gaaah so fucking brainwashed by commercialism that I now think of Whitney Port whenever I say that!)four days ago, and just came home to my lovely vesterbro apartment.

I have been on a spiritual journey. No not the kind where you seek a guru, meditate and cry for hours in a dark room. I've simply been to "the motherland" (or mine anyway), Sweden with my parents. They rent a house often by the "swedish côte d'azur" aka. Österlen.

This being my first vacation day, I chose to shoot in b/w as to not reveal my very white body :-O

My room

This morning I had breakfast on the beach, twirling my sun burnt red toes in the sand, drinking black black coffee and munching on sweetbread and now i'm back to sirens, car noise and people with attitude (P.W.A). I used to HATE the countryside...and I still have a strange relationship with it. I'm a city girl, always have been..love my concrete, the sketchy people, the noise, the neon lights...but this time it was different. Nature and silence was exactly what I needed. I really feel like a new person. calm. thoughtful - NOT busy, stressed, outrageous Tia and i'm kind of liking this new red face i see in the mirror.... *singing I'm starting with the lobster in the mirror oh yeah*..

Literally in the backyard..

When I came back, of course I couldn't help logging into facebook after 3 full days of absence!

Then I threw some old flowers out and made art in my trashcan...LOLZ
